Accommodate was contracted to support Harland & Wolff for a major project at Belfast Docks. The initial contract involved providing workforce accommodation and a range of essential services, including catering, transport, and cleaning, for a total of 183 personnel arriving between February 8th and 15th, 2024. This figure quickly grew to 700 personnel with the project finishing in October 2024. Below is a breakdown of what we delivered.

Key Milestones

January 31st, 2024: Accommodate secured additional contracts to manage hospitality, transport, and laundry services for the project.

Infrastructure setup: Accommodate installed kitchens and canteens on-site, capable of serving up to 1,000 personnel, and also established an on-site convenience store to meet the day-to-day needs of the workforce.

Project Timeline:

February 8th, 2024: The first wave of personnel arrived on-site.

Peak of the project: Over 700 personnel were housed, spread across six different contractors.

Service Highlights:

Accommodation & Housekeeping:

23,000 rooms cleaned over the course of the project.

Catering:

• 1,200 meals served daily, totalling 268,000 meals by the end of the project.
• 24-hour food service available.

‍Transport:

• Seven bus routes established, resulting in 6,200 bus runs.
• Airport transfers for incoming personnel were organised.

Laundry:

• 19,000 sets of overalls cleaned.

Additional Services:

Corporate hospitality services were provided to support business events and VIP visits.
